What is the difference between a steam sauna and an infrared sauna?

An infrared sauna heats your body directly rather than heating the air around you. It makes it feel more comfortable and easier to breathe in.

How does infrared work?

Our Infrared Sauna uses near, far, and mid range wavelengths to heat your body. Each one targets different levels of the body.

Near infrared effectively penetrate and heal the skin, far infrared reaches deep where toxins are stored, and mid infrared penetrates soft tissues to help increase circulation so more oxygen can reach injured areas of the body.

Why is Low EMF important?

The high electric and magnetic fields of other company's infrared sauna's make them less effective. The Sunlighten Low EMF Sauna protects the human body from too much electromagnetic exposure and doesn't produce extra electromagnetic waves themselves.
